La Porsche 356 fu prodotta dal 1948 al 1966 in differenti Serie… anche Speciali… nelle versioni Coupé, Karmann Coupé Hard Top, Cabriolet, Convertibile, Speedster e Roadster. Questa nella fotografia è una versione Coupé SC prodotta dal 1963 al 1966. Il suo motore (Tipo 616/16) era disposto posteriormente ed era dotato di 4 cilindri raffreddati ad aria in configurazione boxer di 1582 cm3 che erogando 95 cavalli di potenza portava la vettura fino a 185 chilometri orari di velocità massima. Per meglio tenere sotto controllo il raffreddamento del propulsore vi era un radiatore specifico per il raffreddamento dell'olio cincolante in codesto.
