Erice si trova in provincia di Trapani. E' un piccolo borgo medievale, quasi sempre avvolto nella nebbia, che conserva una bellezza indicibile. Immerso in una natura silenziosa e armoniosa, perfino la luce è diversa in questo angolo incantato di mondo. I raggi del sole infatti trafiggono la nebbia e i rami creando effetti degni di una fiaba. E poi dal Castello di Venere si possono ammirare panorami mozzafiato: da un lato Trapani e le saline, le Egadi, ancora più a sud Marsala e, se il clima lo consente, anche Pantelleria, perla nera nel Canale di Sicilia, e Capo Bon, in Tunisia; dall'altro il Tirreno, il golfo di Castellammare, la costa che arriva a San Vito lo Capo e oltre, fino ad Ustica... Una piccola perla della Sicilia, che non può non essere visitata...
