Thanks for looking and commenting. Interesting about the jackal. The coyotes that live around us are pretty bold and are not really afraid of people that much as long as you don't crowd them. All of the shots in this gallery of them are of one family, the male, female and three cubs this last spring. It was fascinating trying to get close enough to photo them. They didn't like it much when I moved in close. With three cubs, I was never really sure what they would do. Not sure whether they will come back again this spring. This is getting to be a pretty populated area. Thanks again for responding. Wally
