Bruxelles: l'Atomium. Costruito per l'Esposizione Universale del 1958, doveva rimanere installato per sei mesi, ma è finito per divenire uno dei simboli più marcati della capitale belga. Alto 102 metri, raffigura la struttura molecolare di un cristallo di ferro e si trova nel Parco dell'Heysel, circa 6 km a nord-ovest dal centro città. Le sue 9 sfere hanno un diametro di 18 metri.
