Good detail, set the composition, the colors and focus. The only abnormal noise gigitale 400ISO makes you think you have applied a strong crop and a certain value of radius during the application of unsharp mask. If you are fascinated more and more nature photography Currency in the future purchase of a lens dedicated as the sigma 150-500mm os or nikkor 300mm f.4 + 1.4x extender.
Location of recovery?

Ciao Lauro.
Buona giornata e buona luce

For the value of radius / radius you should never exceed the value of 0.4 ;-)
Try to resume the file, and rilavorarlo ripostarlo here.
If you prefer a view stabilized stop you recommend the sigma, if you feel so heavy you decide whether to use it or add a battery-grip on the reflex ... ophs :-| Your SLR from Nikon is not designed to be used with a Battery-grip :-(

Thanks Maurizio. Your words describe the situation very well: I would have stayed on that field for hours and hours watching the squirrels.
