Prima escursione, ogni anno sempre più tardi per colpa della neve che sembra non voglia sciogliersi mai. Il nostro interesse era catturato dalla montagna dalla parte opposta della valle, il pizzo Scalino, che sfortunatamente non ha ricevuto la tinteggiatura rossastra in cui speravamo; così, negli ultimi istanti di quel tramonto mi sono spostato un po' e ho visto una delle pochissime pozze d'acqua non ghiacciate e subito mi sono precipitato per immortalare il bel riflesso di quelle nuvole e quei colori che tanto ci fanno pensare ed emozionare.
