Ero alla ricerca di anziane con gli abiti ed i gioelli tradizionali ma non avrei mai sperato tanto.....
Il viaggio è andato alla grande con giornate ed occasioni fotografiche decisamente interessanti, anche meglio delle pur alte aspettative e come al solito quando si va in India ci sono state alcune situazioni imprevedibili che hanno dato quel qualcosa in più. Devo anche dire che la guida che avevvamo era davvero eccezionale ed un volta capite le nostre esigenze il suo apporto è stato determinante.
La cosa bella è che sono tornato con le idee chiare per il prossimo viaggio in India per andare a vedere una tribù che non conoscevo in una zona non toccata dal turismo ed un raduno di Sadhu di tutta l' India che non è spettacolare il Kumba Mela ma, invece che ritrovarsi tra centinaia di fotgrafi come avverrà probabilmente quest'annno visto il numero altissimo di prenotazioni, è assolutamente sconosciuto e negli ultimi 3 anni c'è stato solo un fotografo americano..... ed in un più una serie di altre chicche
Il 70/200 me lo ha imprestato l' amico Fabrizio e devo dire che come, avrai modo di verificare prestissimo  , è una lente davvero eccezionale!!
Il taglio della mano che si intravede in basso avrebbe comportato anche il taglio dell' inizio del palmo della mano che regge la pipa e questo, secondo me, sarebbe stato più penalizzante che intravvedere la mano sotto.
Per quanto riguarda lo sfuocato secondo me è questione di gusti ed a me sinceramente piace così com'è e del resto essendo una pipa con un manico lungo almeno 20 cm la differenza di profondità di campo era tale che con qualsiasi apertura, a distanza di 2/3 metri, sarebbe stato improbabile avere a fuoco sia il viso che la mano se non quando spostava la pipa di lato e più parallela al viso. Ho anche provato fare il contrario mettendo a fuoco la mano ma sfuocare questo viso è un delitto.

I was looking for old women with traditional clothes and jewelry but I never hoped so much .....
The trip went great with days and very interesting photo opportunities, but also the best of high expectations, and as usual when you go in India there have been some unforeseen circumstances that gave that little bit extra. I must also say that the guide was really great and a avevvamo Once you understand our needs his contribution was decisive.
The nice thing is that I'm back with a clear mind for the next trip to India to go to see a tribe that did not know in an area untouched by tourism and a gathering of Sadhus from all over India 'that is not spectacular the Mahakumbh but, instead chand being among hundreds of fotgrafi will probably quest'annno seen as the high number of reservations, it is absolutely unknown and in the last three years there has only been an American photographer ..... :-D and in a more a series of other goodies 8-)
The 70/200 has lent me the 'friend Fabrizio and I must say that, so you'll have to check soon ;-), is a really great lens!
The cutting of the hand that is visible at the bottom would also have to cut the 'beginning of the palm of the hand holding his pipe and, in my opinion, it would be more detrimental than a glimpse of the hand below.
Regarding the blur in my opinion is a matter of taste and I really like it like this andthe rest being a pipe with a long handle 20 cm difference in depth of field was such that any opening at a distance of 2/3 meters, it would have been unlikely to have to focus on is the face the hand except when moving the pipe to the side and more parallel to the face. Devo dire che se non avessimo avuto una guida che sapeva il fatto suo, non saremmo mai riusciti a scovarla...
E la cosa bella è che l' abbiamo trovata con il marito di 87 anni ( sappiamo con certezza l' età perchè si ricodava che aveva 25 anni quando c'è stato il grande terremoto del 1950..) ed il figlio più che sessantenne tutti vestiti con gli abiti tradizionali cosa che è ormai molto difficile da trovare.
