Ti sbagli, penso che eliminare il rumore cromatico (magari lasciando la grana in "stile pellicola", che può anche essere piacevole) migliorerebbe la foto.

Mah ... perderebbe molto della drammaticità e l'effetto congiunto della sabbia e del "rumore" rende l'immagine molto autentica e i passaggi tonali meno artificiali.
Puoi provare a PP la foto con un denoise ... ma io sono convinto che l'effetto sarebbe molto meno accattivante e la foto più piatta ...
P.s. mi piacerebbe sapere comunque cosa ne pensa l'autore.
Well ... lose much of the drama and the combined effect of the sand and the "noise" makes the image very authentic tonal passages and less artificial.
You can try to PP the photo with a denoise ... but I am convinced that the effect would be much less appealing and the photos flatter ...

Grande scatto, sul rumore anch'io toglierei solo quello cromatico (anche se alla mostra del grande Steve ho visto di peggio in questo campo sembra essere ben tollerato) la grana ci sta alla grande!!!

È uno scatto di grande impatto emotivo. Sono stata a Qom ma non ho avuto l'opportunità di vedere le cerimonie per il lutto di Hussein (scusa l'ignoranza: si tengono durante il Muharram ?) e quindi questa tua foto mi permette di colmare una lacuna. ciao
