I nuraghi sono antiche costruzioni in pietra risalenti dal 2° millennio a.C. fino all'età romana. In Sardegna ne esistono circa 6000, hanno una forma tronco conica e alcuni raggiungevano i 22 metri di altezza. Principalmente avevano una funzione militare e difensiva.
