Chicco, questa foto l'avevo già postata nello Juzaforum, intitolata "R.I.P.".
E' stata scattata in provincia di Vicenza. L'albero dove si trovava lo scoiattolo è un castagno di 50-60 anni e il mio capanno è proprio alla base del tronco.
Mentre attendevo per ore l'arrivo di qualche poiana o sparviere, sentivo lo scoiattolo sopra di me che rosicchiava, zompettava o brontolava qualcosa...
Un giorno al tramonto mi sono deciso, sono uscito e mi sono arrampicato sul castagno vicino (albero magnifico di 70-80 anni e forse più)e ho scattato qualche foto allo scoiattolo col 300 liscio a f/2.8.
Qualche settimana dopo, all'imbrunire, mi sono visto arrivare da lontano un giovane scoiattolo con qualcosa in bocca...Si è diretto lentamente verso il capanno ed è entrato dentro.Mi stavo mettendo a piangere dalla commozione. E' rimasto a rovistare qualcosa tra le mie gambe per un minuto e poi se n'é andato...
Il giorno dopo, col sole, ho dato un'occhiata all'interno del capanno e vi ho trovato il cadavere di uno scoiattolo adulto.Non so se fosse un genitore del piccolo che il giorno prima era forse venuto a portare qualcosa da mangiare al defunto, ma è stata un'esperienza emotivamente provante...
Erano i primi frddi dell'anno scorso, non so se lo scoiattolo che ho ritratto fosse proprio quello trovato morto nel capanno, ma penso di sì perché poi non l'ho più visto...
Anche se l'immagine non racconta certo tutta la storia, ci sono particolarmente affezionato anche per questi motivi, oltre che per il fatto che oggettivamente la posa del roditore è simpatica e la luce è quella del tramonto...
