With the free hand is easy to find some problem on the sharpness, using a tripod probably the subject would have been sharper, possibly in the absence of that and being in your garden maybe you could get a little support, where If necessary, aim the elbows or shoulders to avoid any possible microblur, in fact the flower should have been more incisive.
also the exposure was better calculated because the brightness seems to me to be slightly lower.

Thanks Pigi47. The Rose was behind a gate on a small street, unfortunately I have a tripod that I never learned to use (hangs me and I find it very uncomfortable). On the brightness I thank you for the hint, I do a little ' of evidence.
Stefania, thank you for your appreciation, too good.
a ciao to both.

Soft colours and delicate shades suitable for pink.
agree with Pigi regarding the tripod.
to make the petals more defined perhaps it would have been able to intervene to some extent in PS adding contrast and possibly intervening on the curves to improve the brightness. It's just an idea of course ;-)
Nice shot.

The photo seems good to be made freehand. I do not understand what you mean by "recycle" the Sigma 105 as Medium tele and macro: It's his job, how else would you recycle it?

Since those who received it as a gift did not usa...io that I wanted to get a cabbage tele to take me around when I can help but carry the weight of 400... I'm "recycling"

I know, I mean, using it for what it is doesn't mean recycling it.
