Congratulations on your sighting is not easy.
If you do not have prejudice against cuts, perhaps try a square cut.

"chi ben comincia, è già a metà dell'opera", dicevano i nonni Sorriso

More than benign envy-D to capture precisely unusual and you have also made other shots? Have you tried also horizontally as well as vertically?

And I do not mind at all the idea of ??Marcom cut square.

In any case, if this is the beginner's luck ... "Good start, is already half done", said the grandparents :-)

what's special about

It 'an animal in danger of extinction and if I'm not mistaken, there are between 3000 and 5500 free ... and are rarely seen.

Beautiful MAF and fuzzy front and rear lighting condition difficult to manage. I have to correct you on the copy again I've seen several times. This is not the wild dog and wild dog in Kenya and Tanzania as well as in 'almost disappeared. Flocks of this species live almost exclusively in Tsavo West. It 'very much like the wild dog but is' slightly larger and differs for the spotted and especially for the nose and ears.

Now I'm confused ...: = Lycaon pictus African Wild Dog (taken by IUCN - International Union for Conservation of Nature), which is in this photo and when I mentioned the threat of extinction ...

Clear, your not confusion. The family and 'the same but the wild dog say so classic, what you see in documentaries and' now confined to southern Africa and in Kenya lives this species called wild dog. Both species are at risk as much subject to viruses and diseases often caused by human presence and habitat pollution. The problem 'that living in numerous flocks when a person gets sick transmits the disease to almost all members of the pack. We read stories of real massacres. If you want to see a close-up photo of the wild dog you refer to my website in the "other predators".

Buona notte a tutti Sorriso

I'm sorry and sorry, I have not explained well, my doubts were linguistic: wild dog in Italian translates as wild dog and this is the specific Lycaon pictus.
Even although I prefer to use wild dog ;-)

I saw the wild dogs in Namibia, also confirm that I had read the same things that you write about the risks they face and which I have shortened to a "endangered."

Good night to all :-)

Scusate perchè stiamo facendo confusione.

African wild dog = licaone.

www.umich.edu/~esupdate/library/97.01-02/mamakos.html

Sorry for confusion because we are doing.

African wild dog wild dog =.

Then there are the wild dog subspecies ok, it's true. I do not have exact figures but they are different.
The wild dog that lives in South Africa is called wild dog that too.

In Tanzania lycaons there are (and numerous), although much threatened. Last year we saw a nice herd (24 copies) to the edge of the Serengeti. Incredible 20 years because they were not seen in the park. There are, however, more numerous herds in other parks of Tanzania, as the Selous, where we have most of the African population. The other place where they are very present is Botswana. In theory, Zimbabwe, but for the country's problems, there would heavily.

The network does not have theInk specific to give comfort to these notes, you quote for now u couple of links:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_wild_dog
www.umich.edu/ ~ esupdate/library/97.01-02/mamakos.html

If you have different data, you read very happy, maybe citami sources please.

Aggiungo uno studio non recente (15 anni fa):

www.canids.org/publicat/awdactpl/3status.htm

Add a study recently (15 years ago):

www.canids.org/publicat/awdactpl/3status.htm

where the wild dog is declared common in Tanzania
Mikumi National Park
Ruaha National Park
Selous Game Reserve

The first one did not know but it is a small park, the other two I know of sightings quite common.

In Kenya no park is declared as common presence of wild dogs.

www.cheetahandwilddog.org/distribute.html

Basta adesso vado a lavorare ;-)

Other link more updated almost to the present day:
www.cheetahandwilddog.org/distribute.html

Click on the menu at the top you can see the Distribution and various parts of Africa. Not numbers at a quick glance, but you can see the presence.
Just now I go to work ;-)

Ciao
Michele

I do not, unfortunately, but I've never met systolic everywhere signs which called for giving warning of their presence at the ranger.
