Massimo, yes i am very fortunate to live in a fertile valley in NW Oregon with abundant streams and lakes that support large populations of Osprey, Eagles, Red Tail Hawks and other raptors. They do put on quite a show, especially in and around nesting time. The Osprey have now raised their young and will soon be heading south for the winter. They will not return to our area again until April of next year. It's always sad to see them go and hard to find worthy replacement subjects. :-( Time to look for winter migrating birds coming in from Canada as soon as it cools and the rains start to fall.
