14 Luglio Il regno dei pulcinella di mare ovvero le scogliere di Latrabjarg. Detto che nei fiordi occidentali il 90% delle strade è sterrato arriviamo con la nostra piccola auto, nel tardo pomeriggio al nostro alloggio a pochi minuti dal culmine della scogliera. Le scogliere sono lunghe 14 km. e alte fino a 440 metri, è davvero impressionante sporgersi e guardare giù fino al mare. Gli uccelli che nidificano su queste scogliere sono milioni e il loro vociare unito al sibilo del vento è da film. I pulcinella non hanno alcuna paura dell'uomo cosicché si lasciano avvicinare e fotografare fino a pochissimi metri di distanza. Sono le nove di sera e il freddo è forte, rientriamo nel nostro rifugio, dove dormiremo al caldo dei nostri sacchi a pelo.
