Blown up during the English Civil War...shot from Branscombe Hill, taken nearly 2km distance, so some heat haze reduced clarity, sharpness and contrast, which I have tried to overcome in processing. At 400mm (eqv to 600mm FX) #castles

Nestled in the gap, blown up during the English Civil War and shot from Branscombe Hill, taken nearly 2km distance with equivalent 600mm lens (on FX), so some heat haze reduced clarity, sharpness and contrast, which I have tried to counteract in processing.

Part of a 12km walk along the high Purbeck ridge to the castle, last week.
