Dopo diverso tempo ho aggiunto anche la Latonia alla mia raccolto fotografica di lepidotteri. Farfalla che adoro, in questo scatto lo raffigurata ad ali aperte, poco prima che si librasse in volo. Ho anche altre 2 riprese. Soggetto molto collaborativo. Il suo aspetto è caratteristico: il contorno delle ali è decisamente spigoloso a differenza di altre specie affini. La pagina superiore si presenta ricoperta da numerose macchie nere distribuite, secondo uno schema ben preciso, su tutto lo specchio alare.
