A due passi dalla odierna "casa di Montalbano" si erge il Faro Capo Scalambri, o Faro di Punta Secca (frazione del comune di Santa Croce Camerina, RG). La realizzazione dell'intera struttura, ordinata dal Re Ferdinando II durante il governo Borbonico e progettata dall'ingegnere Diliberto, fu ultimata nel 1859. La torre raggiunge un'altezza di quasi 35 metri. #Faro #Lighthouse
