Continua l'esplorazione e la riscoperta dei paesi abbandonati liguri meno conosciuti, questa volta siamo a Riola di mezzo: due massacranti ore di cammino e 400m di dislivello in mezzo ai boschi in una valle totalmente disabitata, spesso seguendo sentieri che non esistono più da decenni e dovendosi aprire la via a colpi di roncola nei rovi. Nella natura selvaggia un agglomerato di ruderi in parte avvolti dai rovi conserva una perla, una testimonianza della civiltà contadina fatta di grandissimi sacrifici e di una vita durissima, sulla porta d'ingresso è segnata una data: 1953 ... nel mentre che l'italia si avventurava nel boom economico a riola di mezzo qualcuno restaurò questa casa e volle annotarlo per memoria probabilmente fiero del suo operato, niente acqua corrente o servizi, niente corrente elettrica, qualche cassapanca come mobile, un tavolo e due letti con i materassi di foglie di mais... nell'italia del boom riola di mezzo aveva gli anni contati e così avvenne che questo paese di lì a qualche anno venne abbandonato e piano piano avvolto dal bosco che ne protegge e ne conserva la memoria e che lui stesso ne cancellerà le tracce come sta già facendo. #urbex #abbandono
