Loréo (Rovigo) Basso Polesine Nel periodo della Serenissima Loreo ebbe il suo massimo splendore, la memoria di questo lontano periodo veneziano vive ancora nel popolo locale, basta ricordare la parlata dialettale molto simile al veneziano. L'impronta architettonica della Serenissima è ben presente osservando gli edifici porticati sulle riviere del canal Naviglio e le calli (Calle Lunga, Calle Pistoria, Calle Moja, Calle dei Cento Culi, Calle Confraternita) che portano a Piazza del Longhena dove si affacciano palazzi istituzionali (vecchia pretura) e padronali in parte rimaneggiati e al Duomo e Santuario di Loreo.
