Geronimo è il nome spagnolo del capo storico degli Apache Chiricahua, Goyaa&lstrok;é, noto per la sua capacità di tenere in scacco l'intero esercito degli USA a fine Ottocento. Pare che l'uso del suo nome per "caricarsi" prima o durante un'azione pericolosa (che solitamente coinvolge un salto) provenga dai paracadutisti americani che nel 1940 videro un film a lui dedicato in cui si gettava in un fiume in sella al suo cavallo urlando appunto il proprio nome #Monochrome #Monocromo
