Ciao a tutti...

Saluti...MrGreen

Hello everyone ...
Place this against the buzzard, noisy and underexposed as a document.
I always prefer to underexpose to avoid the extreme burning of bright parts (but I wonder if it is the best choice).
Then, of course, buzzards, Honey Buzzards, hawks and other birds of prey, tend to be living in
hottest (and especially the brightest) of the day, preferably in backlight conditions ... :-/ The best I could do.
When I saw it I thought it carried a stone and meant lanciarmela addosso.wow!
Then, looking closer, I'm guessing it was not a stone, but a piece of honeycomb. Actually I had always
wondered why it was called the honey buzzard Pernis apivorus, but I had never seen in flight hunting Hymenoptera (typeeater).
It 'ahead of me ... Rather than eat up a bee at a time, he prefers to bring to the table clusters of larvae ...
A unique journey, a lot of convenience ...

I try to insert a detail of prey in question ... ;-)

Edit of 28/01/2013:
Place the image again postprodotta with the intent to pull away a little 'noise ... :-D
The next time will improve also the color balance (:-|).

Greetings ... :-D

ciao
Nello

Of great natural wow wow wow wow! unfortunately when it clears too is inevitable noise and loss of detail, looking for a balance for the exhibition ..
hello

mentre prima ero sempre a 800 Iso.

Ciao.;-)

Thanks to Melugo, Matteo, Luigi and Nello for steps ... ;-)

In, I agree word for word what you express ...
I think at certain times of the day, I should bury me in their home and avoid the search for subjects. :-P
Although I prefer a bit 'more noise for the recovery shadows, rather than the burning of high lights,
I think some pictures should be done necessarily with the right lighting, or they can not
that remain just documentative photos ...
The greatest compromise that I was able to reach the last two years, which is in full sun, usually shot at 500 ISO with the 7D,
whereas before I was always at 800 ISO. But I find that the differences in the results are minimal ...
Very often all I need to be a bit 'longerto obtain results a bit 'more appreciable. :-(
Then, operationally I have my habits, very difficult to change ...

Thanks again to everyone for the steps ...
Hello. ;-)

Ciao a tutti...;-)

Thanks also to Henry, Crzeal, Luigi and Giovanni for steps ...

Even if the photo is not very successful for many reasons, but I'm glad I learned more about life in some notion
of these beautiful birds of prey ... In a little 'out again to the south, so I went to catch up with a view to better
I will have to arrange their return this winter for next spring ... I have to come up with something ...

Until next time ...

Ciao Ccoc e Angelo.
Sì, alcune coppie vengono in primavera a nidificare in veneto.
Angelo, immagino tu abbia apprezzato molto l'aspetto documentativo dell'immagine...;-)

bella esperienza vissuta.

beautiful experience.
when a shot is made by way of documents, who cares if there are any flaws, even obvious.
it is fine
