I dont usually take such pictures, where the insect is artificially put on the beautiful plant, but this is the only thing i could do to let this poor dragonfly be shown before it died. It was one-day Aeshna grandis, a female, which could not fly due to wings defects. The dragonfly was not able to fully emerge and their wings were broken and bonded. When im writing this, that specimen is probably already eaten by the ants. Sad but true.
