E' una comune felce Giorgio, della quale ho fotografato una fronda al momento dell'inizio dell'attività vegetativa. Il nome di "bastone pastorale" si dà alla fronda solo in questa fase vegetativa. Poi si "srotolano" e la fronda si riempie di foglie come, probabilmente, sei abituato a vederle. E' una pianta idrofila e, dunque, dovresti trovarla nei sottoboschi umidi e ombrosi e vicino a zone umide.

Then "roll out", and the branch is filled with leaves as, probably, you are used to seeing them. It 'a hydrophilic plant and, therefore, you should find it in damp undergrowth and shady and near wetlands.

Il giardino è piccolo ed in gran parte è prato, ma qua e là c'è qualche piccola aiuola fiorita.
E' il regno di mio figlio ed io sono autorizzato esclusivamente a fare fotografie !
Ti dirò, non avendo il "pollice verde", la cosa non mi dispiace affatto !
Mi godo il bello e lascio la fatica agli altri !
