Si erge maestosa fra i quartieri Mitte e Tiergarten e nei pressi del Palazzo del Parlamento. È il monumento più famoso di Berlino ed è ritenuto il simbolo della Germania e della città stessa. La sua imponenza è sconvolgente e lascia senza fiato, le colonne che ricordano i Propilei di Atene, nonostante la loro possenza, si elevano verso il cielo con infinita grazia. Alla sommità della porta è posta una quadriga che completa il grandioso monumento. Sono rimasto ore ed ore a fissare la Porta di Brandeburgo ergersi nella sua eleganza e ho cercato di dare una mia rappresentazione fotografica di questa straordinaria costruzione che racchiude in se l'essenza di Berlino
