Hello dear Luke, glad I liked it, yesterday afternoon I had an hour and went around a bit in the center. The Campopisano square is located in the historical center, Piazza Sarzano down towards the sea as direction. I decided that the lighthouse 'a gallery of some of the lesser known sights of Genoa, obviously with my colors ... ah, ah Thanks Luke, see you soon.

adri

Hello Luca Looking onto well documented and reported.
you know that just a few days ago I was talking to my cousin of Genoa just the battle of Meloria? but for another reason .. at the end of that battle he gave the historical origin of the chickpea flour ...
The Genoese galleys, of rowers prisoners charged, found themselves involved in a storm. In the hustle and bustle of some oil barrels and sacks of chickpeas they toppled, soaking salt water.
Because supplies were those who were and there was plenty to choose from, he retrieved the can and sailors were given bowls of a shapeless pea puree and oil. Some sailors refused mash leaving it in the sun, she wiped the mixture into a kind of pancake. The next day, driven by hunger pangs, sailors ate the prepared discoveringthe delicacy. Once back on land, the Genoese thought to improve improvised discovery and cook the puree in the oven. The result pleased him, and for mocking the defeated, was called "the gold of Pisa."
(cit. Wiki)
Returning to your composition, congratulations for the shot and the gallery. a warm greeting.
adri
