con Sigma 2x TC-2001, 1/4000 f/6.3, ISO 2000, hand held. Specie: Dicaeum cruentatum

Very active little bird I only had a brief opportunity to take a shot while it was sitting and then flew away. Subject only about the size of a hummingbird. Of course I would have preferred if the subject was unobstructed by the leaves but that's bird photography. Shot taken in eastern lowland forest about 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks for the concern Larry, appreciated but this was out 11th time in Malaysia and have never had any safety concerns in the places we go to. Would feel less safe on most city trains in Australia after 9PM : )
