Santa Maria del Monte fa sempre la sua brava figura. Pensavo fosse fatta da dietro la funicolare prima di leggere il titolo della galleria , ma comunque non mi sono sbagliato poi di tanto. Riguardo il b/n a me non dispiace per niente, anzi... lo trovo ben contrastato come piace a me. L'unico neo, se vogliamo, è un leggero mosso, ma con 1/10 e 75mm su APS-C a mano libera è decisamente difficile chiedere di più. Complimenti!

Santa Maria del Monte is always her good figure. I thought it was done from behind the funicular before reading the title of the gallery, but I was wrong then and then. Regarding the b / w I do not mind at all, but ... I find it well contrasted as I like. The only drawback, if you will, is a slight blur, but with 1/10 and 75mm on APS-C handheld is very difficult to ask for more. Compliments!

Grazie Giorgio son proprio contento che questo mio scatto restituito in B&N ti sia piaciuto. A me ricorda una vecchia cartolina che si spediva agli amici quando, da bambino e con la famiglia, si saliva al Sacro Monte in tram e poi con la funicolare per trascorrere una giornata di festa. Il tram non esiste più da più di cinquant'anni e la funicolare, completamente rifatta, funziona solo a singhiozzo !

Thanks Giorgio am just glad that my shooting returned in B & N you enjoyed it. I remember an old postcard that he sent to friends when, as a child and the family, they went up to the Holy Mount tram and then the funicular to enjoy a day of celebration. The tram has not existed for more than fifty years and the funicular, completely redone, only works in fits and starts!

Sì, lo scatto soffre di un leggero mosso, ed effettivamente la pigrizia è la causa di questo perché, per eliminare i cespugli che avrei avuto davanti al borgo, sono dovuto scendere di un po' in una scarpatella e non mi sono portato il cavalletto che pure avevo e che ho usato per tanti altri scatti !

Quello che c'è di meraviglioso in questi borghi antichi è che, salvo porcate dei responsabili dell'edilizia dei Comuni di cui fanno parte (e, fortunatamente non è questo il caso), non sono ampliabili con nuove costruzioni e, dunque, mantengono intatta la memoria storica delle loro origini. Per nostra grande fortuna !
