Sono in braccio al mio papà Alessandro, che nonostante le grandi privazioni dovute alla guerra, mai mi faceva mancare il pacchetto di wafer (frou frou) che ho in mano. La foto fu scattata con una Kodak Brownie che mio nonno riportò dagli USA nel 1906. Raccontava mia nonna " mio marito cucì un vestito ad un paesano che non avendo soldi lo volle pagare con questa macchinetta prendere o lasciare". Aggiungeva che l'amico di sicuro non l'aveva comprato perché era di mano lesta, facendo ruotare le dita con gesto esplicativo.
