Ho usato un telescopio rifrattore da 900 mm di focale f/9, messo su una montatura motorizzata per inseguire il moto del Sole. L'immagine è la somma di sette fotogrammi ripresi in sequenza scatto veloce. I parametri di ripresa potevano essere di valore inferiore. Il transito dura meno di un secondo. La ripresa non è casuale, per i tempi del transito mi sono riferito al sito specializzato CalSky.com Immagine finale ritagliata. Ripresa effettuata in un sobborgo di Verona

Alcune cose: l'inseguimento del Sole mi serve perché il tutto deve tenere inquadrato il Sole per almeno mezzora.
Il transito in questo scatto aveva la durata di 0.56sec, l'ISS era posta ad una distanza di 516 km dal mio punto di ripresa, essa ha complessivamente la dimensione di un campo di calcio.
La ripresa è sempre "al buio": un cronometro in una mano, il pulsante del cavo di scatto nell'altra, e per me la tensione dura fino a quando visualizzo i sette scatti su un totale di una trentina. Non do mai per scontato l'esito della ripresa fino alla fine. Molte volte volte ho fatto cilecca.
