Dull dull and dull today, took my old full-frame D700 and ultrawide 14mm Sigma out to the Cathedral and found I could liven it up by hiding behind trees and was able to clothe the scaffolding by carefully placing of autumnal robes. |

Thank you Stefano - they sky was pure white/grey - darkening it (this lens is too wide to attach filters onto) would have just made it more dull. But I am trying to show that you can try and compensate for such poor light as much as possible by including colour and other elements. |

When you have about the widest non fisheye lens in existence you compose with it and its quirks, and not to go cropping it afterwards! (This is wider than 10mm on DX) You're wasting a lot of space. But I understand your point, too. |
