Under Winchester Cathedral is this crypt, which due to the high water table, sometimes fills with water in winter. Usually it's only in patches but in February, water covered the whole floor, casting a perfect reflection to this life size human sculpture, by the famous, renowned British sculptor Anthony Gormley. Original image was artificially lit, in shades of yellow and light brown. This was fine, but needed evening out but was still distracting overall. So, converted the PSD file to black and white, with further tweaks. A further copy of that PSD was made and then a gentle sepia tone added, to warm up the image, while retaining the simplicity of the mono. Tripods are not allowed, so a fast, good quality lens is needed, if you want a good result. #BlackAndWhite #Cathedrals #Reflection
