Un ennesimo scatto sofferto... si vede che la fotografia deve essere per forza anche sofferenza per coglierne l'intima essenza!
Ero in questo oscuro luogo della Valle di Cellio per passare un'ora in tranquillità e stavo cercando un nuovo pdr per questa cascata. Stavo per andar via e mi accorgo della presenza del Cervo su di una pietra... apriti cielo! Subito sono stato felicissimo, ma poi la contentezza si è trasformata in rabbia, perché il macro era a casa... Inoltre mi sono subito accorto che il cavalletto me lo potevo sognare considerato dov'era sistemata la bestia. Per avvicinarmi ho dovuto guadare mezzo torrente e inginocchiarmi su pietra bagnate e scivolose. A destra ero contro un muro fradicio e muschioso e a sinistra acqua alta. L'unica idea è stata quella di comporre in questa maniera col Tokina e utilizzando la cascata come sfondo. Ho lasciato il filtro scurente per il movimento dell'acqua e ho trovato una via mezzo per il tempo e diaframma. Mi sono appoggiato alle pietre con i gomiti e anche con le braccia, e trattenendo il respiro ho fatto una trentina di scatti. Mi sono poi accorto che il corpo della bestia non contrastava con lo scuro delle pietre bagnate, così ho inserito davanti due foglie che aiutassero la visione delle antenne e delle zampette. Più di così non potevo avvicinarmi... circa 30 centimetri dal soggetto... infatti anche per questo non è stato facile trovare una via mezzo per il diaframma. Inoltre il filtro si bagnava ogni dieci secondi. Insomma più di mezz'ora con questo piccolo miracolo della natura... Poi mi sono lavato nel torrente perché ero mezzo infangato. Pantaloni e Nikon... lasciamo perdere! Imprecazioni tante, ma ne è valsa la pena. Erano anni che non vedevo più un così bel esemplare di Cervo volante!
