Fondato come monastero benedettino intorno al 1050, San Giorgio in Braida deve le sue attuali forme rinascimentali all'opera del Sanmicheli che lo ricostruì a partire dal 1477: fu aggiunta la grande e caratteristica cupola dominante l'ansa dell'Adige, il presbiterio e il campanile, peraltro rimasto incompiuto. Il tratto di Lungadige che da San Giorgio conduce a Ponte Pietra è una passeggiata deliziosa e indimenticabili sono gli scorci e i panorami sulla città ...
