Cara Jessy.
Nel 1906 da un mastello di legno e di una pompa da giardino nasceva la lavatrice.
La Miele nel 1930,modifica,brevetta e nasce la lavatrice.
A quell'epoca,esistevano le lavandaie.
Quelle a domicilio,arrivavano nelle case,per pochi spiccioli si davano da fare,quelle di fiume,che lavavano il tutto nel fiume dove esisteva nelle vicinanze,e quelle dei lavatoi.
Spesso erano custoditi,da un impiegato comunale,ma questa è un'altra figura che viveva anche rivendendo alle lavandaie erbe profumate per il bucato,così
arrotondava pure lo stipendio.
Quelle della foto,forse trovandosi nel posto deputato al "gossip" ridevano dei pettegolezzi ed in più stavano guadagnando qualche soldo,per tirare avanti,esentasse.Più felici di loro......

Uno scorcio bello e ottimamente ripreso da te. Questo sono posti che mi piacciono tanto e, in questo caso, con la foto che lascia poco all'immaginazione, è stupendo.
Ho conosciuto anch'io le lavandaie al mio paese, sia quelle che andavano al fiume o venivano a casa. Anche a casa mia veniva una donna per lavare le lenzuola sino a quando è arrivata la lavatrice. Questa tua foto mi ha riportato indietro a tanti anni fa, quando l'innocenza la faceva da padrona e ti ringrazio.
