1/800 Masai Mara, Kenya. Specie: Panthera pardus

Masai Mara febbraio 2012 Da un paio di giorni sapevamo che Olive teneva i suoi cuccioli ben nascosti sotto un cespuglio in prossimità dello Smelling Crossing. Quella mattina abbiamo preso posizione leggermente alti sul dirupo , in linea con lo specchio d'acqua,scommettendo che il leopardo sarebbe passato di la. sapevamo che successivamente non avremmo potuto muoverci per la presenza degli altri veicoli. dopo due ore di attesa Olive è uscita dal cespuglio ed ha iniziato a percorrere il sentiero tra le roccie che portava allo specchio d'acqua. arrivata in prossimità dello stesso ha avuto un attimo di esitazione quasi fosse stupita di quell'immagine riflessa. La luce era ancora bella e noi siamo stati fortunati. Poi è sparita nel bush ritornando la notte.Canon Mark IV- 500 mm f.4,5 1/800 Iso 800
