, Posa B f/3.5, ISO 800, tripod. Etna, Italy.

The volcano Etna was full of snow, so I and my cousin went there hoping to realize some good pictures. We met there a cute fox that kept us company, but finally raising up the eyes we saw a fantastic sky full of stars and no clouds. I realized a startrail with a well lit foreground because the volcano was still slightly lit by the moon. Around forty minutes exposures made in multiple exposure mode.

This startrail was created in manual in photoshop. A fairly complex procedure

I seem to remember that on a timelapse italy forum a genius had created automatic actions to accomplish this kind of startrails ... but I have never been able to use it ..

I used this action curiosity, but it created annoying gangs in the image, and it was obvious that it was too much artifacts. In fact I did it manually :)
