Even so, I didn't mind...

I prefer the one in the race, the strong contrast is fine, but it has shadows that are too closed for my taste

I like it, you managed to accentuate the "right" colors and lights to bring out the "watchable" elements :-D
the cut of the ugly banner at the top is also good, too bad for the sky.

Thank you :-)
I tried to bring attention to the "five subjects and a crocodile".
There are many disturbing elements in such a chaotic situation. Including several elements on the edges that I cut off, tightening. Closed shadows also serve this purpose.
:-)

And how did he get there? I only heated the wb by 200 K... :-)
Thanks Jp :-)

molto buona come sempre Ale.

Thank you Silvia,
My WB is daylight + 200K towards yellow. I wouldn't want magenta to be "poor tycoon" in the original...
And anyway it seems to me a wb consistent with the scene.

For the cut: the choice is to focus attention as much as possible on the subjects. Keeping the banner, I would also have included many distracting elements that in such a choral scene seem to me to weigh a lot.

:-)

I like the general management, the cut is functional to group the (3 as I see them) subjects so for me it is yes

Very good handling of the many elements of this photo, and closed shadows are a great choice. I would say the "refocus" of the lady in the foreground is very effective.

May I ask you if you used specific software or did it with LR/Photoshop tools (which I don't have anyway...)?

For the sharpness on the face I used Topaz Photo AI, everything else as always just Camera Raw
