Una lunga giornata di appostamento in Sila mi ha permesso di osservare da vicino un lupo. Mentre fotografavo un gruppo di caprioli appare all'improvviso un lupo che tenta, ma fallisce la predazione. La fortuna vuole che mi ritrovI relativamente vicino. In questi momenti, la priorità assoluta resta non recare alcun disturbo all'animale o ai suoi spazi. Dopo l'osservazione e un profondo riposo, il lupo si è allontanato silenziosamente, svanendo come era apparso. Minimizzare il nostro impatto è l'unica via per un monitoraggio della fauna etico e sostenibile. La vera conservazione si fonda sull'essere testimoni invisibili di questi delicati equilibri naturali. Un giorno unico in compagnia di un essere vivente splendido troppo spesso non compreso e perseguitato. Viva il lupo!
