urante il campeggio dello scorso fine settimana ho avuto la doppia fortuna di assistere ad uno dei sempre spettacolari parossismi dell'Etna e ad un fenomeno ottico davvero singolare ed impressionante, per quello che ho letto un fenomeno che si verifica per la prima volta durante un'eruzione: il light pillar, o pilastro di luce, quel fascio che si vede benissimo nell'immagine e che sembra partire dalla viscere del vulcano per poi innalzarsi fino alle nuvole. Un fenomeno davvero incredibile sia a vedersi che a fotografarsi.
