Condivido con voi questo scatto di una Costasiella kuroshimae (comunemente chiamata "pecora di mare") realizzato ad Anilao. In questa immagine "catturata" mentre depone le uova in una spirale perfetta. Questa specie è straordinaria: pratica la kleptoplastia, ovvero "ruba" i cloroplasti dalle alghe di cui si nutre per compiere la fotosintesi, un caso quasi unico nel regno animale. Questa foto ha ottenuto due importanti riconoscimenti internazionali ed è stata pubblicata su Nature come una delle migliori immagini scientifiche dell'anno.
