Subjects : black kite, osprey, Plumbeous Water Redstart, Plain Flowerpecker, Rusty Laughingthrush and many other birds of seasonal migration. The place is very mice to shoot birds for the location is in the mountain area and with very good views from landscape perspective. Although in winter the rainy days are pretty often but it doesn't matter with the bird photography.

Recommended equipment : above 300mm tele-lens and with a better film speed camera is more preferable. Tripod is a must since the hand-held is no quarranty for the picture quality. Food is a must to have prepared before going there and certainly the drinking water.

Best months : November ~ May

How to get there : By taking car driving from Taipei following the country road to Wulai and then follow the GPS to find the location. Ask local people is also possible. The photography shooting season you can encounter many photographer so it's easy to reach the point of shooting.

Visits : Except very tiny privately owned land, most land is free to go while the shooting points are usually along the road side. Unless you have interference with local residents by making inconveniences.
