Subjects :It is a temple dedicated to Buddhist worship. The main structure is Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple). It is a blue, oranta structure with gold parts. The predominant color is also the same inside the main temple. It is surrounded by several buildings (other temples, totems and small commercial artifacts).
Recommended equipment :From wide-angle to medium-canvas to capture both the overall view and the details.
Best months :All year round, even if climatically for Thailand I think our winter, that is, their dry season, is better.
How to get there :I highly recommend a private tour or (given the not prohibitive costs) the hiring of a personal driver. The area is easily accessible from both Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. I haven't been aware of whether or not there is public transport to get there, but given the proximity to Wat Rong Khun (white temple) and "The Golden Triangle" the golden triangle, I think it is better to combine the three visits. Organized day trips are feasible. A little heavy from Chiang Mai, much lighter from Chiang Rai.
Visits :I don't think there's any need to pay a ticket, although it's usually included in organized tours.
Notes :Very busy during the Christmas-New Year period and in the middle of the day. Women with legs that are too bare are forbidden to enter. I didn't find a direct site, but a link to a facebook page.
