Recommended equipment :Telephoto and super-telephoto, a wide-angle lens is also recommended to capture landscapes.
Best months :All year round. For Pumas, the winter period is preferable. Be careful on days when rain is expected, in the high mountains the rains are torrential and sometimes the (unpaved) road is impassable or even destroyed. You climb up to about 3200 meters above sea level.
How to get there :From the city of Mendoza, follow the signs for the Villavicencio Nature Reserve. The road is the state road 52.
Visits :It is possible to cross the state road 52 without paying but if you want to visit the Reserve, when you arrive there is a place for visitors where you can buy the ticket.
Notes :On sunny days, a headdress is recommended. Another tip, since the distances are long and there are no refreshment places, it is always advisable to go with something to eat and, above all, to drink.
