Subjects : Typically Dolomite panorama. The small mountain village offers a wonderful view of the Odle and the Alpe di Siusi (exactly in front of Villanders). You can photograph the classic landscapes of these Dolomite areas. Excellent possibility to go trekking in the direction of Totnkirchl.

Recommended equipment : A good photographic equipment suitable especially for landscapes with wide angles and medium-distance lenses to photograph the panorama in front of the village (you need at least a 120mm on full format).

Best months : All year round, of course, every season offers something unique to photograph. I visited the area at the beginning of March, although with little snow the landscape gave beautiful emotions.

How to get there : By car take the Brenner motorway, exit Chiusa-Val Gardena. from the motorway exit follow the signs for Villandro. You reach the village after about 15 'by car.

Visits : Of course free admission. Nearby I recommend visiting the Odle, about 30 minutes by car from the center of Villanders.
