Subjects : Tsavo West is part of the the park of Tsavo, and is divided from the east by the road from Nairobi to Mombasa. How to get there : Very easy. from Nairobi or Mombasa just take the main road through Kenya and connecting the two cities. The entrances to the park are along the same.

Visits : As in all the parks of Kenya is allowed round from sunrise to sunset. The entrance fee is 40 USD per day (subject to change).

Notes : Tsavo West I tried to run for three days without ever meeting another car. We were in silence to observe a pair of lions for a whole morning without ever another tourist or photographer approached. If you want the real Africa, this is the place.
