Subjects : Strokkur Geysir. One of the must see when visting Iceland is Geysir and the Geysir area, park. As you enter the park area around Geysir in south west Iceland, you can't but notice the phenomenal steam rising from hot springs, vents and streams all over the area.

Recommended equipment : I will propose wide-angle lens for shooting in this area.

Best months : I was at the location the 1st of June 2012 and it was perfect weather for photography.

How to get there : You can get there by car. It is easy to drive to Strokkur by car. If you follow Highway 1 from Reykjavik and then follow Highway 35th Highway 35 running right through the Geyser Park.

Visits : It is free to visit the site. It is an area with several Geysir, which jumps every 5th minute.
