Subjects : Mount Seceda (2520 m) offers a breathtaking panorama of the Geisler and the surrounding mountains, including the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto; its easy access to the summit makes it an excellent vantage point for all seasons.

Recommended equipment : Wide-angle, standard zoom, and possibly tele zoom for details of the landscape and bright wide-angle lens for night photos.

Best months : In the summer period it is always reachable on foot or by cable car; in the winter months you can reach the top by cable car.

How to get there : Two cable cars arriving to the summit, a part from Ortisei and Santa Cristina in Val Gardena; in summer I recommend taking the cable car from Santa Cristina Col Raiser, and from there continue on foot to the summit (about an hour and a half, height difference of 450 meters). The fittest can also make the entire journey on foot, starting from Santa Cristina.

Visits : The visit is free, except for the sections in the cable car (cable car Col Raiser Santa Cristina-costs 18 EUR / return, plus 3.50 euro for parking).
