Subjects :The surviving buildings of the famous eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the Roman architecture in general, the statues and the marvelous mosaics, the interior of the Roman taverns era, the colonnades, the thistles and decumani paved.
Recommended equipment :A wide-angle lens to capture all the beauty of the excavations in the complex, and a short telephoto / tele for going into the details of these beautifully preserved buildings. Also recommended a poncho or umbrella if you are traveling during periods of sudden showers
Best months :Surely the summer or spring, although the beautiful days of autumn and winter with fewer tourists are really suitable because of the lower number of visitors to this site so famous.
How to get there :By car from the highway and follow the signs for the train ercolano.In excavations, it is the nearest station to the excavations, are about fifteen minutes piedi.Ci also passes the Circumvesuviana, which is also convenient if you are staying in Naples.
Visits :Timetables are available on the excavation site directly, the entrance is charged per person, with the usual reductions for children and other specific groups (over, military, conventions etc ...).
Notes :Also bring a poncho or umbrella if you go on a visit in the periods in which they can get sudden showers (yes ... personal experience!)
