Subjects :The Salt de la Caula is a small waterfall covered with moss; The conformation of the rocks makes it particularly photogenic. The area is partially fringed a few years ago and no longer is the pond under the waterfall, but it is still worth taking some pictures.
Recommended equipment :Standard Zoom, Grandandolo and Tripod.
Best months :All year round.
How to get there :From Figueres, follow the Giv-5041 road until just before the village of Les Escaules. You can leave the car in the village or in front of the entrance of the restaurant parking (now closed) which is next to the waterfall. At the time of my visit some areas were fenced because of the landslide, but you can still get very close to the waterfall walking to the side of the creek.
