Subjects : The medieval city unesco world heritage, the castle, the Saint Savior basilica, and Notre Dame de Rocamadour sanctuary. You can also walk towards the Croix de Cufelle, which offers a breathtaking cliff-side panorama of the city.The Gouffre de Padirac 16 km away.

Recommended equipment : Wide angle, standar zoom lens. Tripod.

Best months : All year, but you can see the "Mongolfialde of Rocamadour around September" (hot air balloon gathering)

How to get there : Easily accessible by car or train (The train was on the Brive-La-Gaillarde to Rodez line). Or by long-distance hiking trails for the bravest.

Visits : Visits is free, except for the castle ramparts where entry costs 2€

Notes : A major place of pilgrimage in France, welcoming many tourists all year round, it is quite difficult to take photographs there, prefer very early in the morning or at sunset when the city lights are on.
